Natural Anti Dustmite, Mildew and Mold Resistant
This is a result of porous and dry nature of mattress making inhabitable for dustmite, mold and mildew to grow. Dustmite, mold and mildew which feeds on to your dead skin left on the mattress is the cause of lots of allergy reactions such as Ezema.
For spring mattress and synthetic mattress, A layer of chemical has to be applied before leaving the warehouse for it to be dustmite, mold and mildew resistant. This process will have to be repeated regularly, or your mattress will be susceptible to invite a few unwanted neighbours
Flame Retardants
For US and UK trademark brands, it is legislated to required for flame retardants to be applied your mattress. Flame retardants such as Boric Acid which may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and repoductive issues (ironic).
