Natural Bed Frame

Unlike most bed frames out there in the Singapore market, our bed frames are treated with natural plant oil instead of lacquer. This has made our bed frames to be saliva safe and sweat proof.

Every bed carefully crafted by hand. Our solid wood bed frame were crafted with the highest quality in mind. 

Made with traditional interlocking joints. Every bed frame is more durable as weight evenly spread out. Resulting in the highest weight load in Singapore with the elegant feel coming from nature. 

With the intention of our bed frames to last a lifetime. All our bed frames are designed to be timeless and versatile in any interior design. 

One unique selling point for our bed frames is that it is one tree to one bed. So the bed frame will have the same weight consistency throughout. This also results in a consistent grain with our bed frame.

Every bed is hand crafted by carefully selected timber obtained from sustainable forests certified by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC)

With more than 20 designs and 11 wood types to choose from. The different premutations will fit a wide array of design needs. Timber procured in sustainable forest after air dried for a year before producing the beautiful beds, you will be able to rest assure to the quality of the bed that you are sleeping on. 

Beech

Using the most common and versatile tree in Germany, Beech is also known Copper Beech because of the slight reddish hue. Beech is treated by steam before production. This results in a more intense colour tone and to prevent cracking. 
 
Beech will only be procured between 80 to 120 years old for production

Solid Wood Bed Material: Heartwood Beech

Heartwood Beech

It is the core wood of Copper Beech, giving the same bright mustard colour like the Beech. It has strong vein that run across the wood giving a very unique characteristic for the wood. 
 

There is a theory for the strong viein and colour tone is the result of a reaction to the defensive measure to a reaction of a fungral attack. Giving the strong character for the timber.

Design Beech

Having distinct lines running through the wood created by rotating saw. Resulted in a distinct, contemporary look in the Beech design.

Procured in sustainable forest, every wood is finely sanded and oiled, giving every piece of furniture a unique character and feel

Swiss Pine

Hailing from the Alpine area in Switzerland; also known as Arolla or Mountain Pine. Swiss Pine has the calming effect on human. 

With it’s rustic design and natural knotting, giving your bed a very unique character. It is also naturally insect proof. 

Note: However due to the calming nature of effect on the scent from the wood, there will be no other treatment being done on the wood. Recommendation will be for the Ergo Natura Bed Base.

 Oak

Belong to the 2nd most common tree in Germany, belonging to the whike oak family. It is light brown in colour, charatctised by it’s hard density and hardness. With the embedment of Tannic Acid. This results a darker tone comparing to the Beech or Swiss Pine.

Wild Oak

Instead of hiding the imperfections,  furnitures produced using wild oak highlights the natural knots, streaks and the irregular grains giving the vivid indiviual look. 

Sometimes you have to close these knotholes with wood putty to create a smooth surface. This should be known when choosing wild oak.

Wild Oak Brushed

The classic wild oak in a completely new, incomparable look. The solid wood undergoes a special mechanical process in which softer parts of the wood are brushed out of the surface using a steel brush. A unique feel and rustic grain are the result.

White Oak

The addition of white pigments in the wood oil gives the oak a light wood color without hiding the grain.

Cherry

Procure from the North American Cherry Tree, Cherry is popular for its warm tones and dynamic aging process. 

When freshly cut, Chery has a lighter colour giving it a more versatile and various decoration styles. The wood will darken over time giving a more richer reddish brown colour, giving it more depth and richness.

Walnut

Hailing from North America, Walnut is being prized and cherished because of it’s rich, dark colours. 

Being labeled as one of the noblest hardwood, Walnut has been a favourite for furniture making giving the furniture a luxrious feel. Enchancing the qualities that comes along with Walnut.
